Arielle Cohen Tanugi-Caresse 

Arielle is a PhD Candidate in Economics at Université Paris-Est Créteil, specializing in the interaction between social capital and health in aging European populations. Arielle was previously a Research Assistant for Ashish K. Jha at Brown University School of Public Health, where she contributed to research projects on pandemic preparedness in LMICs, international healthcare decarbonization policies, long COVID impact, equitable vaccine distribution, and health misinformation in the United States.   Leveraging her expertise in economics and public health, Arielle also has extensive research experience in France, working with the Transitions démographiques, Transitions économiques Chair (Institut Louis Bachelier), the Management in Innovative Health chair (EDHEC Business School), and EconomiX (Université Paris-Nanterre).  Arielle holds a Master 2 in Applied Economics and Master 1 degrees in Environmental Economics and Economic Analysis & Policy from Université Paris-Nanterre, where she also earned her undergraduate degree in Economics with a minor in Chinese Studies. Arielle is French-American.
